Tinubu is the architect of his own misfortune in APC – AD chieftain, Akinfenwa
Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, Board of Trustees, BoT, Senator Mojisoluwa Akinfenwa, has said the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu is the architect of his current travail.
Tinubu, has come under attack following his call that APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun resigns from office due to the party’s decision to overrule the decision of its National Working Committee, NWC, which cancelled and ordered the conduct of a fresh primary in Ondo State.
However, Akinfenwa in a statement on Tuesday, accused the former Lagos State Governor of scheming his way to get the support of Yoruba elders, Punch reports.
Akinfenwa also noted that he cannot work with Tinubu, adding that the APC’s Chieftain has not spoken to him in a long time.
According to the AD Chieftain, “(Every) man is the architect of his own fortune and misfortune. In this case, Tinubu is the architect of his own misfortune. So, he should not bring me into the matter I was never part of with him.
“He knows it will be difficult, if not impossible to woo or induce me as he is gradually succeeding with those he has despised and succeeded in wounding.”
